Something special happens when we show up to serve others. Something special happens when we remove ourselves and our wants and needs and love people where they are.
The Fall Fest had so many moving parts. Our hope was to have a fun bounce house to go along with everything else, but the weather unfortunately didn't permit the bounce house. However, it was so much fun. We had tents on tents-on-tents set-up outside.
City Church once again deployed their people. We had a pumpkin drive, in order to set-up a pumpkin patch.
Multiple people helped supply the various types of Chili for the food.
The House Church in Texas (Cherry and the church that meets in her house) provided a generous offering that helped supply the hot dogs and drinks.
We had a wonderful donation of halloween costumes that the kids were able to take.
Windy Hill Orchard donated apple cider donuts and apple cider.
It's amazing what we can accomplish when we use the resources and connections the Lord has provided. There is something special when people say yes. Your YES matters more than you can imagine. We can continue saying yes because of the greatest yes, we said in Jesus. Which couldn't be possible without his YES to save us.
From homemade games to pumpkin decorating, tattoos, and cookie making -- people felt loved.
